A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to repeal the limitation on funding from the highway trust fund for light rail transit system projects, as recommended by the house select committee on strategic transportation planning and long term funding solutions.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Subsection (e1) of G.S. 136‑189.11 is repealed.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
