§ 143‑431.  Tobacco museums.

It shall be the duty of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to establish, supervise, manage and maintain the tobacco museums. The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources may establish a reasonable fee for viewing the museums which fees shall be used to defray the expenses of the museums. To accomplish these purposes, the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources shall have authority to buy and sell real and personal property and to accept donations of real or personal property from any source. The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources shall not contract any debt in its purchase of real or personal property. (1969, c. 840, s. 3; 1973, c. 476, s. 116; 2015‑241, s. 14.30(s).)
