Congratulations to Rep. Rena Turner, Winner of the Back to School Challenge
America’s Legislators Back to School Program kicked off in September. Representative Rena Turner led in school visits among all North Carolina legislators by visiting 19 schools in District 84, Iredell County, between the dates of March 25 – June 10, 2013. The program is emphasized as a bipartisan event. Sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Back to School Program is designed to teach young people what it is like to be a state legislator.
