Purpose The primary purpose of the Legislative Library is to provide reference, research, and information services to the General Assembly, legislative staff, and legislative committees. Our staff will also assist other government agencies and the public with legislative research.
The Legislative Library is part of the General Assembly's Research Division.
Confidentiality All requests submitted to the Library from General Assembly members and staff are treated in a confidential manner. The Library staff adheres to the same statutory legislative confidentiality requirement that applies to all legislative staff.
