AN ACT to authorize permitted oversized or overweight vehicles to travel after sunset when transporting and delivering cargo, containers, or other equipment from the north carolina global transpark to the port of morehead city or the port of wilmington.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 20‑119 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:

"(b3) For a special permit issued under this section for the transport and delivery of cargo, containers, or other equipment from the North Carolina Global TransPark to the Port of Morehead City or the Port of Wilmington, the Department shall not include a term or condition prohibiting travel after sunset."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
