A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for removal of debris from streams and rivers impacted by hurricane matthew.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Division of Soil and Water Conservation of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the removal of storm debris from streams and rivers in areas impacted by Hurricane Matthew through the Division's Disaster Recovery Program.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
