A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to fayetteville state university for the construction of a health fitness center.

Whereas, Fayetteville State University wishes to construct a health fitness center that meets the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for the benefit of its students and the general public; Now, therefore,

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 143C‑3‑3(b) and G.S. 143C‑5‑2, there is appropriated from the General Fund to Fayetteville State University the sum of five million five hundred thousand dollars ($5,500,000) for the 2017‑2018 fiscal year for the purpose of constructing a health fitness center.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
