A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to provide additional moneys for the Film and entertainment grant fund.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Beginning with the 2017‑2018 fiscal year, there is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Commerce the sum of fifty‑five million dollars ($55,000,000) in recurring funds to be allocated to the Film and Entertainment Grant Fund created pursuant to G.S. 143B‑437.02A and used for purposes consistent with that statute.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
