A JOINT RESOLUTION confirming the appointment OF linda cheatham to the North Carolina industrial commission.

Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor has reappointed Linda Cheatham to a new term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Linda Cheatham to the North Carolina Industrial Commission, for a term beginning July 1, 2016, and expiring June 30, 2022, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
