A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to eliminate the special license plate fee for distinguished flying cross and air medal recipient special registration plates.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 20‑79.7(a1) reads as rewritten:

"(a1)    Fees. – All other special registration plates are subject to the regular motor vehicle registration fee in G.S. 20‑87 or G.S. 20‑88 plus an additional fee in the following amount:

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective August 1, 2016.
