AN ACT to permit advertisement of tax liens on real property for failure to pay taxes by internet publication.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 105-369 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:

"(h) Web Site Publication. - Counties with more than 800,000 persons based on the most recent census estimates may satisfy the advertisement provisions of this section by posting the information required in subsection (c) of this section on the county Web site, provided all of the other requirements of this section are met."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
