A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO FUND AN ENROLLMENT GROWTH RESERVE FOR THE COMMUNITY COLLEGES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of fourteen million dollars ($14,000,000) for the 2010-2011 fiscal year to fund an enrollment growth reserve to assist colleges that experience enrollment growth for the fall semester that is more than five percent (5%) higher than budgeted projections.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2010.
