A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT authorizing a new domestic violence program established in the 2^nd judicial district to be entitled to receive grant funds from the Domestic violence center fund.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 50B-9 and any other provision of law to the contrary, a new domestic violence program established in the 2^nd Judicial District shall be entitled to receive funds from the Domestic Violence Center Fund as allocated by the North Carolina Council for Women/Domestic Violence Commission of the Department of Administration.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2010.
