A JOINT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE 2009 GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CONSIDER A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT REQUIRING STATE FLAGS THAT ARE NO LONGER FITTING FOR DISPLAY BE RESPECTFULLY RETIRED BY FIRE.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The 2009 General Assembly may consider "A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT REQUIRING STATE FLAGS THAT ARE NO LONGER FITTING FOR DISPLAY BE RESPECTFULLY RETIRED BY FIRE."

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
