A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to wilson county to plan the whirligig artisans marketing center.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Wilson County the sum of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) for the 2008-2009 fiscal year for use in planning the Whirligig Complex, which will house a statewide artisans marketing center, Eastern North Carolina Tourism Welcome Center, and meeting and exhibition space.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
