A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to support granville county in building necessary infrastructure for the proposed national bio-agro defense facility.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Granville County the sum of twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) for the 2008-2009 fiscal year to support the county in building necessary infrastructure for the proposed National Bio-Agro Defense Facility should North Carolina be selected as the site for the new facility.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
