Government Performance Audit Committee (GPAC)
In 1991, the General Assembly directed the Legislative Services Commission to contract for a state government
performance audit (Chapter 689, sec. 347, of the 1991 Session Laws). The management consulting firm
KPMG Peat Marwick was hired to conduct the audit and issued a number of reports up to and including
its final report of February 1993. These reports are set out below as PDF files.
