GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 314
AN ACT TO CLARIFY QUALIFICATIONS FOR A STATE BUILDING COMMISSION MEMBER.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. G.S. 143-135.25(c)(3) reads as rewritten:
"(3) A licensed building
contractor whose primary business is or was in the construction of buildings, or
an employee of a company holding a general contractor's license, chosen
from among not more than three persons nominated by the Carolinas Branch,
Associated General Contractors, AGC (Associated General Contractors), appointed
by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Speaker of the House of
Representatives in accordance with G.S. 120-121."
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 18th day of June, 1991.
