GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 63
AN ACT TO ALLOW THE TOWN MANAGER OF APEX TO APPOINT THE TOWN CLERK.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. Section 4.4 of the Charter of the Town of Apex, being Chapter 356, Session Laws of 1985, reads as rewritten:
"Sec. 4.4. Town Clerk. The Board of
Commissioners Town Manager shall appoint a Town Clerk to keep
a journal of the proceedings of the Board of Commissioners, to maintain
in a safe place all records and documents pertaining to the affairs of the
Town, and to perform such other duties as may be required by law or as the Board
of Commissioners may direct Town Manager directs."
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 10th day of April, 1987.
