SENATE BILL 57

 

AN ACT TO REPEAL THE SUNSET PROVISION IN THE 1981 ACT CHANGING THE RATE OF INTEREST IN THE CONSUMER FINANCE ACT.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Section 9 of Chapter 561 of the 1981 Session Laws is amended to read:

"Sec. 9. This act shall become effective 30 days after ratification and shall apply only to loans made after the effective date of this act."

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 14th day of March, 1983.
