GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 208
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TYRRELL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO ENTER INTO CERTAIN CONTRACTS WITHOUT COMPLYING WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 133 AND OF ARTICLE 8 OF CHAPTER 143 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. The County of Tyrrell by and through its County Board of Commissioners shall have authority to enter into purchase and/or construction contracts for prefabricated and/or preengineered public buildings without complying with provisions of Chapter 133 of the General Statutes and without complying with those provisions of Article 8 of Chapter 143 of the General Statutes requiring separate specification and bidding for the classes of work enumerated in G.S. 143-128.
Sec. 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 1983, but shall expire June 30, 1985.
