GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 115
AN ACT TO PERMIT THE CITY OF NEW BERN TO ENGAGE IN CERTAIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. The City of New Bern may expend community development funds to make grants to local businesses in order to provide and protect employment opportunities for persons of low income. Such a grant may be made to provide money for acquisition, construction or rehabilitation of capital assets and to provide working capital.
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
