HOUSE BILL 613

AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE CHARLOTTE-MECKLENBURG BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL RECEIVE THE SAME MILEAGE ALLOWANCE AS STATE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.  

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  Section 2 of Chapter 445, Session Laws of 1977 is amended by deleting the words "fifteen cents (15c) per mile", and inserting in lieu thereof "an allowance at the same rate per mile as provided in G.S. 138-6(a)(1)".

Sec. 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 1981.
