AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE CHRONIC RENAL DISEASE CONTROL PROGRAM.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Human Resources, Division of Health Services, in addition to all other funds appropriated, the sum of three hundred sixty-three thousand one hundred three dollars ($363,103) for fiscal year 1977-78 and the sum of three hundred sixty-three thousand one hundred three dollars ($363,103) for fiscal year 1978-79 for the Chronic Renal Disease Control Program. The appropriation is for the use of the Department of Human Resources in obtaining supplies and materials for home dialysis patients; in renting equipment, such as dialysis machines and water purification systems, for home patients; in providing outpatient services for dialysis and creation of blood access and other medical assistance, primarily medications for dialysis and transplant patients and in providing other services of the Chronic Renal Disease Control Program.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1977.
