AN ACT TO EXEMPT THE BOARD OF TRANSPORTATION, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, AND THE DIVISION OF MOTOR VEHICLES FROM THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 20-1 is hereby amended by adding a new paragraph thereto to read as follows:

"Articles 2 and 3 of G.S. Chapter 150A shall not apply to the Board of Transportation, the Division of Highways, and Division of Motor Vehicles."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
