HOUSE BILL 1253

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 401 OF THE 1975 SESSION LAWS TO INCLUDE CERTAIN NEW SUBSTANCES IN SCHEDULE IV OF THE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 90-92(a) as the same is amended by Chapter 401 of the 1975 Session Laws is hereby amended by adding the substances Chlorazepate, Chlordiazepoxide, Clonazepam, Diazepam, Flurazepam and Oxazepam, so that the list appearing in G.S. 90-92(a) will appear as follows:

1. Barbital

2. Chloral betaine

3. Chloral hydrate

4. Chlorazepate

5. Chlordiazepoxide

6. Clonazepam

7. Diazepam

8. Ethchlorvynol

9. Ethinamate

10. Flurazepam

11. Mebutamate

12. Meprobamate

13. Methohexital

14. Methlyphenobarbital

15. Oxazepam

16. Paraldehyde

17. Petrichloral

18. Phenobarbital

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 15, 1975.
