HOUSE BILL 908

AN ACT TO VALIDATE CERTAIN FORECLOSURE SALES TAKING PLACE PRIOR TO MARCH 1, 1974.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 45-21.42 is hereby amended by deleting in the second sentence thereof the words "fifty-seven" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "seventy-four".

Sec. 2.  G.S. 45-21.44 is hereby amended by deleting in the first sentence thereof the words "February 1, 1968" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "March 1, 1974".

Sec. 3.  This act shall not apply to or affect pending litigation.

Sec. 4.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
