AN ACT TO PREVENT HUNTING DEER WITH DOGS IN JOHNSTON COUNTY.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to allow dogs to chase deer, or to hunt or attempt to take deer with the aid of dogs at any time in Johnston County.
Sec. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not in excess of fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both, in the discretion of the court.
Sec. 3. This act shall apply only to Johnston County.
Sec. 4. This act shall become effective on July 1, 1975.
