SENATE BILL 288

 

 

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR DISTINCTIVE COLORS FOR FREE REGISTRATION PLATES ISSUED TO DISABLED VETERANS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 20-81.4(b) is hereby amended by rewriting same to read as follows:

"(b)      The registration plates provided for by this section shall be red, white and blue with colors in such order as prescribed by the Department of Motor Vehicles."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective January 1, 1976.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 5th day of May, 1975.
