SENATE BILL 351

AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 105-333(14) TO EXCLUDE CABLE TELEVISION COMPANIES FROM THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM "PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY".

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 105-333(14) is hereby amended as follows:

(1)        By deleting from the fourth line thereof the words "cable television company,"; and

(2)        by inserting in the tenth line thereof, immediately following the word "shall", the words "not include a cable television company, but shall".

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective on January 1, 1974.
