AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL TO ESTABLISH AN OFF- STREET PARKING FUND.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  The governing body of The Town of Chapel Hill is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to establish a fund into which payments for the purpose of providing off-street parking facilities from individual persons, firms, corporations, or property owners, shall be deposited, and from which appropriations shall be made exclusively for the purpose of acquiring, establishing or enlarging off-street parking facilities within The Town of Chapel Hill.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 28th day of April, 1969.
