HOUSE BILL 283

AN ACT TO AMEND THE ACT RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE CHARLOTTE FIREMEN'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM TO INVEST IN STOCK.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 575, Section 4.1(8) of the 1965 Session Laws is hereby amended by deleting the words and figures "fifteen per centum (15%)" as they appear in the second line and substituting in lieu thereof the words and figures "thirty per centum (30%)".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon ratification.
