HOUSE BILL 217

AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 143-129 RELATING TO THE LETTING OF PUBLIC CONTRACTS BY THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. That Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, as the same applies to the City of Charlotte in Mecklenburg County, is hereby amended by deleting the words and figures "two thousand dollars ($2,000.00)" appearing in line 5, and substituting in lieu thereof the following, "three thousand dollars ($3,000,00)".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
