HOUSE BILL 740

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 273, SESSION LAWS OF 1955, RELATING TO FILING AND RECORDING OF PAPERS BY THE CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT AND REGISTER OF DEEDS IN RUTHERFORD AND OTHER COUNTIES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 273, Session Laws of 1955, is hereby amended by deleting the words "or name" appearing in line 6 thereof.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2.1. This Act shall apply only to Rutherford County.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
