AN ACT AMENDING CHAPTER 206 OF THE 1943 SESSION LAWS RELATING TO THE PENSION SYSTEM FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS AND OTHERS IN NEW HANOVER COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 206 of the 1943 Session Laws is hereby amended by striking the period at the end of said Section and adding the following:

"; Provided, however, if any person eligible to receive the pension provided for in this Act withdraws all or any part of his contributions to the State of North Carolina Retirement System, then such person shall receive, under this Act, only what he would have received had he not withdrawn all or any part of his contributions to the State of North Carolina Retirement System."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
