HOUSE BILL 733

AN ACT TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF AYDEN, CHAPTER 79 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1965, TO REMOVE THE LIMITATION UPON EXPENDITURES FOR RECREATION PURPOSES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 10.2 of the Charter of the Town of Ayden, as enacted by Chapter 79 of the Session Laws of 1965, is hereby amended by striking out of the third and fourth lines thereof the words "Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for recreational purposes and an amount not exceeding".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be effective upon its ratification.
