AN ACT TO RATIFY THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN REALTY BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF ONSLOW COUNTY TO THE COUNTY OF ONSLOW.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. By deed dated December 9, 1966, and recorded December 12, 1966, in Deed Book 357 at page 464 in the office of the Register of Deeds of Onslow County, the Board of Commissioners of Onslow County conveyed certain realty therein more particularly described, lying and being in Jacksonville Township, Onslow County, on the southwest side of State Road No. 1400. The foregoing action of the Board of Education in executing and delivering the deed to the property and conveying the property to Onslow County is hereby in all respects ratified and confirmed and the said transaction, including acceptance of the delivery of the deed and of the conveyance, by the governing board of Onslow County, is hereby fully authorized to all intents and purposes as if made pursuant to and authorized by law at the time of the transaction.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective on the date of its ratification.
