AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF JOHNSTON COUNTY TO SET JAIL FEES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Board of Commissioners of Johnston County are hereby authorized, in their discretion, to fix and determine the fees that may be charged or collected by the county jailer.

Sec. 2. Except to the extent provided in Section 1 hereof, this Act shall not be construed as repealing the provisions of G. S. 153-9(12a).

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
