SENATE BILL 284

AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF McDOWELL COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 6 of Chapter 630, Session Laws of 1953, is hereby amended by striking out the words and figures "ten dollars ($10.00)", appearing in line 5, and inserting in lieu thereof the words and figures "twenty-five dollars ($25.00)".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 9th day of May, 1967.
