HOUSE BILL 470

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWN OF FOREST CITY TO MAKE CERTAIN EXPENDITURES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Forest City is hereby empowered and authorized, in its discretion, to expend from any nontax funds on hand a sum not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the purchase of band uniforms and equipment for East Rutherford High School, and such expenditure is hereby declared to be for a lawful public purpose.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be effective upon its ratification.
