HOUSE BILL 1351
AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF TYRRELL COUNTY TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF ITS MEMBERS.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Tyrrell County is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to fix the salary of the chairman of the board at a sum not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per month, and the compensation of the other members of the board not to exceed fifteen dollars ($15.00) per meeting. In addition, the Board of County Commissioners may pay the chairman and each member of the board a travel allowance not to exceed ten cents (10¢) per mile and actual expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
