AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 971 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1955, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO FIX THE SALARIES OF THE SOLICITORS OF THE MUNICIPAL-COUNTY COURT OF GREENSBORO.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Subsection (g) of Section 2 of Chapter 971 of the Session Laws of 1955, as amended by Section 4 of Chapter 683 of the Session Laws of 1965, is hereby amended by rewriting the last sentence thereof to read as follows: "The salary of the senior solicitor shall be eleven thousand dollars ($11,000.00) per year and the salary of each of the other solicitors shall be not less than nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00) nor more than ten thousand five hundred dollars ($10,500.00) per year, each payable in equal monthly installments."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
