HOUSE BILL 790

 

 

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ABOLITION OF JUNIPER BAY DRAINAGE DISTRICTS NOS. 1, 2, AND 3, LOCATED IN HYDE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Juniper Bay Drainage Districts Nos. 1, 2, and 3, in Hyde County, established under a proceeding instituted in the Superior Court of Hyde County in 1909, entitled "M. Makely, E. B. Bell, and others vs. M. G. Fisher, George Williamson, and others", are hereby abolished.

Sec. 2. All property and improvements, if any, belonging to the respective districts shall revert hereunder and become the common property of the owners of the respective lands for the benefit of which the said property was acquired or the improvements were originally constructed.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
