SENATE BILL 211

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 106-239 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES RELATIVE TO AN EXCISE TAX ON CERTAIN OLEOMARGARINE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Section 106-239, as the same appears in the General Statutes of North Carolina, is hereby amended by striking the period (.) immediately following the word "fat" and immediately preceding the word "Such" in line 6 and inserting the following:

"or any other vegetable fat or oil produced in the United States of America from agricultural commodities grown or produced in the United States of America."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 26th day of May, 1965.
