HOUSE BILL 679

AN ACT TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION FOR THE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE TOWN OF HAMLET, RICHMOND COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. From and after July 1, 1965, the salary of the Mayor of the Town of Hamlet shall be twelve hundred dollars ($1200.00) per year, payable monthly.

Sec. 2. From and after July 1, 1965, the compensation of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Hamlet shall be twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) for each and every regular meeting and ten dollars ($10.00) per meeting for special or called meetings, not to exceed two (2) in any one month, payable monthly.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1965.
