HOUSE BILL 463

 

 

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ALAMANCE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD REGULAR MEETINGS AT DESIGNATED PLACES OTHER THAN THE COURTHOUSE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 153-8, as the same appears in the 1964 Replacement Volume 3C of the General Statutes, as amended, is hereby. amended by adding at the end thereof the following provision:

"Provided, that in Alamance County the Board of County Commissioners may hold regular meetings of said Board at such regular meeting place, other than the courthouse, as may be officially designated as such by action of said Board of Commissioners."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
