HOUSE BILL 101

 

 

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRAHAM COUNTY TO APPOINT A CLERK TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND TO THE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS, AND FIXING THE SALARY OF SAID OFFICIAL.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Graham County is hereby authorized and empowered to establish the office of clerk to the board of county commissioners. The person named to such office shall serve in each capacity, and shall be paid a salary of one hundred eighty dollars ($180.00) per month. The clerk to the two above-named boards shall be selected by the board of county commissioners, and shall serve during the term of the county commissioners by whom selected, and until his successor is selected and qualified.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
