SENATE BILL 145

AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 153-48.5 RELATING TO COUNTY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES SO AS TO INCLUDE CHEROKEE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 153-48.5 is hereby amended by inserting the word and punctuation "Cherokee," following the word and comma "Chatham," and before the word "Columbus".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
