HOUSE BILL 424

AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION AND TRAVEL ALLOWANCE OF MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH OF ALAMANCE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Members of the Alamance County Board of Education and members of the Alamance County Board of Health shall be compensated in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) per day for each day spent in actual attendance at authorized meetings of their respective boards.

Sec. 2. Travel allowance, at the rate of twenty cents (20¢) per mile one way from the place of residence to the place of the regular meeting shall be paid to members of the Alamance County Board of Education and the Alamance County Board of Health.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
