AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE JUDGE AND PROSECUTING ATTORNEY OF THE COUNTY RECORDER'S COURT OF COLUMBUS COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The salary of the Judge of the County Recorder's Court of Columbus County is hereby fixed at six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) per year, payable in equal monthly installments out of the general fund of the county. The salary of the Prosecuting Attorney of the County Recorder's Court of Columbus County is hereby fixed at five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per year, payable in equal monthly installments out of the general fund of the county.

Sec. 2. The amount of money paid by Columbus County to the Town of Whiteville as the county's share of the expense of operating the Columbus County-Whiteville short wave radio station is hereby increased from one hundred and five dollars ($105.00) per month to one hundred and fifteen dollars ($115.00) per month to be paid out of the general fund of the county.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective July 1, 1961.
